La Ticla

We left La Manzanilla, we had to fly a bit on our own. We ended up
going south, 3 hours later we were at La Ticla (the road is nice,
only one check point and they didn't care about us) where Jason as
been surfing for 3 weeks, it's somewhat dificult to find, at about
an hour from Tecoman and 15km/15min after Placita, after a bridge
over a river). We caught him late on a wave. La Ticla is clean and
nice (Electricity, shower, nice toilet), but nothing like La
Manzanilla as to convenience (food, fast internet). It look like a
surfer paradise. Life here is smooth and easy. This morning,
we went out to reach El Faro and Maruata, to our deception, it was
still pretty full of people. El Faro look very nice but we didn't
explore enough to find a nice place. Sadly, we didn't find what we
where looking for, palapa would be somewhat far from the van and not
that close to the water. We then came back to La Ticla to relax a
bit and see Jason a bit more. But after the weekend (maybe?), we will try again.
For now, lets take it one day at a time. |
Nous avons quitté La
Manzanilla, car nous nous avions maintenant besoin de voler de nos propres ailes. Nous
avons abouti à La Ticla, un petit village mal indiqué à une heure
de Tecoman, à 15 km/15min de Placita. C'est là où Jason Surf depuis
3 semaines. Nous l'avons justement accompagné pour une dernière
sortie avant le coucher du soleil. Le camping est propre et joli,
orienté surtout pour les Surfers. La vie semble calme et lente ici.
Assez occupé encore,mais moins qu'il y à quelques jours. Ce matin,
nous avons quitté tôt (sachant qu'il nous faut de toute façon
re-passer par ici) pour El Faro et/ou Maruata. Nous avons brièvement
visité ces 2 plages/villages, mais il y a encore tout simplement
trop de monde. Les places pour camper nous semblent éloignées de la
plage (sable trop mou). El Faro semble très jolie, mais nous avons
manqué de temps pour l'explorer. Nous avons donc replié chemin
à La Ticla, question de revoir Jason et de se reposer pour une
certain temps. Pour l'instant, un jour à la fois. |

January 2008, we are extending our trip a bit,
life is smooth here, still humid but way less than La
Manzanilla. Days goes fast doing about nothing. I'm still having
a hard time relaxing, i now the work load i have at home that
wait for me and that is on my mind each day, still, i need to
learn how to relax a bit more before going home. Many student
and local are going home slowly anmd that is a good thing
because the only problem here is it's still a bit to crowdy forn
my taste, everybody is close together so i'm hoping for some
space soon. Sylvie is having fun in the water with Jason and
that is fantastic. Jason is a good men, i like him a lot. We eat
tacos every night lately, there are so good. Anyway, i will
explore a bit more the river today and try to upload my site.
The 200 is a narrow and twisty road in Michoacan, it's also full
of topes and that take a lot of energy to ride on those routes
so we won't go much more south.... on this trip! Not much
gas station also. We plan to maybe stay here for another week or
so, or try agan El Faro who look wonderful. The nearest bank is
an hour + away so we will try to live on our remaining 250$

I'm not that
happy with my Sigma 135-400DG, not enough light/speed at
F8-400mm/2000, i'm still not sure about the color also. I
need one like that:
Canon 500mm L at 7000$ :-) Dream on !Je ne suis
pas si satisfait de ma lentille Sigma 135-400DG, à 400mm, je
suis à F8/2000 et je manque de lumière. J'ai besoin d'une
Canon 500mm L à 7000$ :-) comme sur la photo. Dream on !

nous prolongeons notre voyage d'une semaine ou deux. La vie
est calme ici, ça surfe quand les vagues sont là et c'est
relaxant quand il n'y a rien. Plusieurs jeunes dans la vingtaine
et trentaine passent l'hiver ici. C'est humide par moment,
mais beaucoup moins que La Manzanilla. L'humidité et moi ne
faisons pas bon ménage.. Il fait autour de 19 la nuit, et
entre 28 et 32 le jour.. Le campement est toujours assez plein
et c'est la seule chose qui me rend... moins calme. On est pas
mal tassé sous les palapas, et j'ai besoin d'air (espace privé).
Ça semble se vider aujourd'hui, les étudiants et les
Mexicains semblent sur le chemin du retour. Les gens sont par contre très sympathiques.
Sylvie s'amuse finalement dans l'eau avec Jason. Autant que
j'aime la mer, autant j'ai de la difficulté à me baigner cette année.
Jason est formidable, je l'aime beaucoup. On mange des Tacos
presque à chaque soir, ils sont délicieux. Je vais tenté
d'explorer la rivière près d'ici, ça semble très jolie. Il est
plus difficile d'uploader mon site ici, l'Internet est à 54K et
pas du tout stable, donc mes photos sont réduites.
La 200 est sinueuse et étroite dans l'état du Michoacan,il y a
peu de station d'essence. Il est épuisant de conduire sur ces
routes, les topes et l'étroitesse de la route demande de
l'énergie! La banque la plus proche est a 1.5 heure, nous
allons donc essayez de vivre sur notre 250$
Je vais aussi tenté de prendre quelques photos du petit village
et des environs. |
