This is another trip, 1900miles in 5 days, one more aboard my beloved 73, this show was great, i love the concept of “Everybus” and “Busfusion” type of show, it show the open minding of some VW owners and not the close minded style of the Air-cooled Vs Vanagon vs Splitty vs Eurovan……… this is still a freaking 14 feets van, a way of travelling, a way of thinking. I usually don’t go to VW event for the exception of Busfusion… So Everybus will be in my mind next year. I was quite tired so I didn’t do much a weekend but I did appreciate the friendship, the colourful people and van/bus. The Potts family for their implication and of course all the organisers. My main reason for going south was for meeting my good friend Larry Chase and a bunch of Canadian square heads…. But wile there I have met more very nice and interesting folks.  My bus is going stonger than ever, the ride went smooth without any proplems, I even have a very good fuel consumption with the single Weber, I did more than 475km with one 13 gallons tank. Head temp at 350, oil temp varies between 185F and 210F at the most in a very hot day. With my newly polish intake and slightly modified head I never had to hit third speed but once (1800cc).
That with a fully loaded bus carrying a complete 78 interior that is now installed in my 73. Thank to Jamie of WV and André of Quebec who help me carry some stuff.

Regards
